The Vice President of Finance is a senior finance leader responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant global financial reporting under US GAAP and IFRS. This role oversees all accounting operations, leads internal and external audits, drives ERP and digital transformation initiatives, and develops a high-performing global accounting organization. The VP will serve as a strategic advisor to the CFO, supporting transparency, strong internal controls, efficient processes, and global growth.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Lead preparation and consolidation of US GAAP and IFRS financial statements, ensuring timely and compliant reporting.
- Partner with Corporate Finance on quarterly and annual reporting.
- Stay ahead of evolving accounting standards and regulatory changes.
Audit & Internal Controls
- Manage external audit relationships and oversee annual/interim audits.
- Lead internal audit coordination and enterprise risk assessments.
- Maintain a strong internal control environment across global operations.
Transformation & ERP Leadership
- Serve as a key leader in ERP conversion and system integration across global operations.
- Drive finance transformation, including automation, shared services, and process standardization.
- Improve financial close and reporting efficiency across the enterprise.
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop a world-class, geographically dispersed accounting team.
- Build succession plans and leadership development programs.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA (or equivalent) required.
- 15+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience, including 7+ in senior leadership at a public multinational company.
- Construction industry experience preferred.
- Deep expertise in US GAAP and IFRS with dual reporting experience.
- Proven success leading external audits, internal controls, and audit committee interactions.
- Hands-on experience with major ERP implementations and finance system transformations.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing global teams.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence executives, boards, and external stakeholders
